    Duration of ownership: 3 Weeks

    Strengths: Excellent price. Screen is bright, crisp, no dead pixels, and vibrant colors.

    Weaknesses:Haven't really noticed any weaknesses; however, a height adjustment would be nice. It does have a limited amount of tilt so you can face it up or down to the viewer.

    Overall Evaluation: The Acer web site list this monitor in their "value series." It is definitely a value for the price. MWave sweetened the pot by offering [limited time] free shipping. I purchased one as a birthday gift for my wife. I was so impressed with the monitor I purchased one to upgrade my 19" monitor. Neither monitor had any dead pixels. One is connected via the VGA connector and the other is connected via the DVI connector. Both monitors were set to 1680X1050 and have an excellent display. The monitors have been in use 2-3 weeks with no observed issues or problems. I have recommended this monitor to several friends. Can't beat the deal.

    Duration of ownership: 14 Days

    Strengths: Good price. Bright screen. Good contrast.

    Weaknesses:Brightness varies with up/down viewing angle. Definitely has a "sweet spot". Has some light leakage at top and bottom edges but not extreme and unnoticeable unless screen color is black.

    Overall Evaluation: Even with the weaknesses listed this is still a good economy monitor. My 24" inch at work doesn't have these weaknesses but it costs about twice the $. I bought 3 to set up a triple screen gaming system. No bad pixels on any of them. Whew! I've seen reviews for this monitor where folks say the image is not sharp. Undoubtably their mistake is not setting the video card output to 1680x1050. You must drive an LCD monitor with exactly it's native resolution to avoid this problem. At 1680x1050 the clarity of this monitor in impeccable.

    Strengths: affordable,colors very bright crisp,zero dead pixel

    Weaknesses:no adjustable height

    Overall Evaluation: The Acer V223Wbd 22" LCD Monitor is a very excellent monitor. The monitor came with no dead pixels. I have been running the monitor for the last couple of days and I love it. So far I have not have any problems. It is better than any other monitor I have owned. The price is great for a 22" monitor. I would suggest this monitor to all my friends.
